Privacy Policy

Effective July 29, 2026

Wazan ("Wazan AI," "we," "us") is operated by Osama Jamal Rajeh, doing business as Wazan AI. This policy explains what information we collect through wazan.ai, how we use it, and who we share it with. It does not cover data submitted to us as part of a paid engagement — that is governed by the Data Processing and Confidentiality Addendum attached to your Service Agreement, which sets stricter terms than this page.

Information we collect

We currently collect only what you give us directly: your name, email address, and any message content if you submit an inquiry on this site. We do not run analytics or advertising tracking (e.g. Google Analytics, Meta Pixel) on wazan.ai as of this policy's effective date. If that changes, we will update this policy and, where required by law, request consent before deploying tracking technology.

How we use it

Inquiry information is used only to respond to you and evaluate a potential engagement. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Who we share it with

We do not share site-visitor inquiry data with third parties except:

If you become a client, data you provide as part of that engagement is handled under a separate Data Processing and Confidentiality Addendum, which discloses our current subprocessors in full (Anthropic's Claude API, Supabase, Vercel, Google Workspace, and Resend).

Data retention

We retain contact/inquiry information only as long as needed to respond to you or, if you become a client, for the duration of the engagement plus a reasonable period for our own records, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you by emailing the address below. We will respond within a reasonable time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable law (for example, Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act or U.S. state privacy laws); we will honor valid requests consistent with those laws.

Children

wazan.ai is a business site and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our practices change. The effective date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes affecting how we handle previously collected data will be communicated directly where practical.

Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

This page is a working template, not a substitute for legal review. Given Wazan's cross-border footprint (New York and Alberta) and law-firm client base, have it reviewed by counsel before relying on it, particularly the data-subject-rights and retention language.
